The management body of The Regen Centre, Riccall Regen 2000 is an
independent Social Enterprise Limited by Guarantee and a Registered
Charity. The unincorporated organisation formed in 1996, with 21
representatives of local community organisations and interested
individuals. As enterprising volunteers we raised £1.5m from funders to
construct and equip the Centre:

RJB Mining UK Ltd
Parish and County Councils
The Coalfields Regeneration Trust
Plus
a number of other trusts and smaller businesses - plaques which
acknowledge their support can be found in the entrance lobbies.
In addition we raised £25,000 through the local community, over 3 years.
The Regen Cente operates as a social business, generating earned income
and securing contracts in order to meet this purpose. Ahead of its time
in design, the Regen Centre is an environmentally friendly building
using solar and photovoltaic panels to generate electricity.
We are community-owned and community-led and strive to achieve
excellence in everything we do. Recent awards include the Duke of
York's Community Initiative and the BURA Charitable Trusts National
Award.

Microsoft's new word processing suite has had a radical face lift. Designed to be easier to use for the complete beginner, users of the old MS Office suite may find it quite difficult to get to grips with it.
